Free Maths mistake log

Keep a record of what went wrong, what you learnt and what you will retry.

No registration needed. The text template opens in any text editor. Copy an entry for each question, or print it and fill it in by hand.

Download the mistake log (TXT)

How to use the tracker

  1. Record the topic and a reference to the question in your own book.
  2. Identify the first incorrect step. Choose an error type: concept, method, arithmetic, reading or timing.
  3. Write a short correction in your own words.
  4. Choose a retry date, attempt it without notes, then record the result.

Use a new row for each learning point. You do not need to copy the entire question. Keep the file on your own device; downloading it does not send your entries to Ace Tuition.
