Plan a budget before requesting a tutor. Final rates depend on the tutor, subject, school level and agreed lesson arrangements.

These indicative planning ranges are not a fixed price or a guarantee that a tutor is available within your budget. Part-time and full-time tutors set their own offers; experience and specialist subjects can affect the rate. Your introduction shows the actual hourly rate for review.
Understand the invoice total
Tuition invoices use the agreed hourly rate, duration and scheduled lesson count, plus 9% GST. Periods run from the first agreed lesson date to the corresponding date next month; actual counts vary.
Illustration: four 1.5-hour lessons at S$50/hour
Tuition: 4 × 1.5 × S$50 = S$300
9% GST: S$27
Total tuition invoice: S$327

Learning tools, delivery and collection
Use a suitable laptop, webcam, microphone and internet connection. Additional tools are only required when agreed for the lesson activity. We quote any tool or loan, delivery and collection charge in writing before you commit. A deposit applies only if separately agreed in writing. All loan equipment must be returned as agreed.
Cancellation and refunds
For new bookings, give at least 24 hours’ written notice before a lesson for no lesson charge. Late parent cancellations may incur up to 50% of that lesson’s charge; emergencies are reviewed. Tutor cancellations do not charge the parent. Your requested termination date in valid written notice determines the stop date, not the date admin processes it.
We aim to acknowledge within one business day, reconcile within three business days and refund agreed unused prepaid amounts to the original payer within seven business days after the balance is agreed. Existing bookings retain their accepted terms.
